1.
Complete the "TM Mobile Personal Information" screen with
your personal infromation. Your Customer ID and
Password are used to access TM Mobile both on your
phone and computer.
2. Begin using the
Desktop Client. You can experiment
by:
a. Creating new
appointments. b. Adding tasks to your
schedules. c. Creating or attaching custom
views. d. Creating SQL queries and connecting to
remote databases. e. Using online help by pressing
help key (F1) or using the
help button (?) on the buttons toolbar.
3. Exit
out of Desktop Client.
4. In your
iPhone or web-enabled smartphone, switch to your internet
browser.
5. In the browser address bar
type in 'tmlogin.net' and load the login
page.
6. Bookmark this page or add it to
your favorites for future reference. iPhone users
perform a 'Add to Home Screen' for easier access. Make
sure that you wait a couple of seconds for the TM
Mobile icon to appear before you press the 'Add'
button.
7. Use the Customer ID and
Password you typed in earlier to enter TM
Mobile.
8. Take a look at the work you
performed earlier on your computer. You
can:
a. Zoom into the page for an
enlarged viewing of the screen. b. For smartphones
other than iPhone, experiment with various
browser formats to get the look
that best approximates the
Desktop Client. c. Edit your appointments
& tasks or add new ones. d. Use the Weekly
& Monthly and Outlook views to examine the
various ways of looking at your
information. e. If you created or attached custom
views, take a look at them. You
can experiment with both 'HTML' & 'XLS' download
formats to see what works best
for you. c. If you have created a connection to a
remote database, you
can view your data or perform a real-time update and
view the
results.
9. Make sure you 'Logoff' TM Mobile
when your work is complete.
10. Go back
and forth between your mobile device and computer and
review the impact of the changes you are making on both
devices.
